Yahoo has finally undone a long-standing agreement with AT&T to allow its users access via email addresses. This means that all Yahoo accounts will no longer be accessible after November 1st, 2020 when their contract ends and they’re redirected exclusively onto the new mega brand Oath’s platform for digital content consumption.

The move by AT&T to break up its network into “appendaged” services has caused an uproar among net neutrality advocates. However, it seems less about creating walled gardens and more about cleaning up prior commitments and pre-existing partnerships with other companies before this change took place–so far anyway!

Tumblr is pulling login functionality for Yahoo and Tumblr accounts from att.net starting on June 30th, 2017! The site says that this change will affect some users’ ability to access their blogs or store purchased items in certain ways as they’ve had no other option but accept the provider’s terms of service before being allowed full use again with another email address attached at Tumblr.

Here’s how to change your email address if you’re affected by the recently announced changes at Oath.

  • Click “Settings” under the account menu at the top right of the dashboard (looks like a person).
  • To the right of the email address, click the pencil icon and confirm the password.
  • Save changes by clicking OK
  • when prompted to do so or visit https://my Dashboard again for more information on how you can manage your settings from there!
